It won’t happen to me. No one ever thinks they will become addicted when they begin to use drugs or alcohol. However, addiction does not discriminate and can happen to anyone. When addiction sets in, shame often prevents people from seeking the help they need. The Addiction Medicine Providers at the DCHC are dedicated to helping people begin their road to recovery that are struggling with substance use.
